EKOion's products mimic nature's own method of ionization.
How ionization happens
The air is the same as we have had on earth all these days, and it has not deteriorated. The air is, on the other hand, polluted by various substances and particles such as organic gases, bacteria, sulphur compounds and more.
Nature, however, has its own method of ionization – that is, to purify the air from pollution. When the sun rays pass through the atmosphere, they ionize the oxygen in the air and then the number of electrons in the outer shell of oxygen changes. But what does that really mean? It means that oxygen ions are formed that merge into larger oxygen clusters. When these clusters come into contact with the pollutants in the air, they react with them and the pollutants are reformed or degraded.
EKOion ionization equipment mimics nature by producing oxygen clusters in a natural way and purify the air from foreign substances and particles, as well as neutralize odour and make the air fresh.
EKOion's products are adapted to the values found in mountain and mountain environments and can therefore increase well-being in the office-, workshop-, healthcare-, school- and treatment plant environments. As well as other facilities where people live or where the air needs to be purified.

The history of ionization
Albert Einstein suspected at the turn of the century that it was not ozone that made his lung-sick relative healthy, as was claimed during his stay at the sanatorium in the Swiss Alps. It prompted Einstein to start researching the light absorption of oxygen.

Important with good indoor air
You know that an adult breathes about 25 kilos or 20,000 gallons of air a day? Or that we Swedes spend 90 percent of our time indoors? That's why it's so important for us to have clean and fresh indoor air, both at home and in our workplaces.

Cost-effective and environmentally smart
EKOion ionization equipment allows you to circulate and ionize existing indoor air several times. It is estimated that between 30and 80% of indoor air can be recycled.
